That's right. I also need to dust off muh Arabic dictionary.
(this is an old phrase but it's one I LOVE)
Inshallah (insha'Allah) indicates hope for an aforementioned event to occur in the future. The phrase translates into English as "God willing" or "If it is God's will".
This word is often used to indicate a desire to do something that you wish may occur, or to indicate that you want God's blessing for what you are about to do.

One day I will be a published "W"riter. Inshallah.
LOVE it. The author of "The Kite Runner" pronounced it "in-SHAWL-uh."
ReplyDeleteI will pronounce this word correctly, inshallah.
