Carry Me Back to Ole Virginny

Emily, Beth and I have been planning a trip to Seattle and Vancouver Canada for a MUSE concert for quite some time. Then, after I got home from school, I found out that Sheena and Brian were going to the Dominican Republic for a week so my mom was going to go to Virginia to watch the boys for two weeks.
Well, shoot that's two weeks before we leave.
 I'm available.
What about me?!

(I ended up taking 3 weeks off from work so "available" is a word that I use loosely...but, hey. Sacrifices must be made when you want to travel across the country with your sisters!!)

So, it happened! I was able to to hang out with Sheena for a few days before they left.
It's not that I don't love Montana, because I awkwardly do. But I've never quite felt like I belong here. You know, a city should resonate within you and my residences in Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho have never quite done it for me. I've accepted that you just sort of endure where you live.
But whenever we go to the East Coast, my heart soars. You CAN love where you live!!!
I love big cities. Which is ironic because I hate being in places with lots of people.
I hate it when people are too close to me.
I hate it when people smell.
Whatever.
Consistency was never a strong human trait.
I still want to live in a big city.
Or in a suburb where the city is easily accessible.
There are just so many opportunities to do and see endless things. For example, Sheena took us to Kabul Kabob, an Afghan restaurant!!
:D
I loved hearing people come in and speak Farsi with the adorable owner. Just thinking about it makes me smile.
This was only the best bread I've ever had in my life. We got some lamb. I like it but I felt like I could taste the grass the little sheepie ate. A little too pastoral for my taste, but I could definitely get used to it. It was such a tender thing for Sheena to take me there and for my mom to eat it. I know sometimes I have different tastes than my family but I really do appreciate how willing they are to try different things and support me. I love you guys so much.
:')

After Sheena and Brian left it was up to Mom and me to take care of the boys for a week.
We took our light saber wars very seriously.

Thank goodness Sheena has such sweet, loving boys. Taking care of little kids is hard but there are so many tender rewards that makes it all worth it.

Anyways...
 Anthropologie.
My friends, I have loved this store for years.
I have covered many-a-walls with their catalogue.
But, I've never been there.
Until now. Sheena took us and we all got new skirts. On sale.
Aw yeah!!!!!
Yet another dream fulfilled.

Also, we went to the Cheesecake Factory where they slap down a menu the size of a novel for you to choose from. I got Moroccan chicken and tried couscous for the first time!!
Isn't life wonderful?

Tonight Beth and I leave for Missoula where I will get to hang out with Carly and then Emily and Scott will pick us up and we'll continue our adventure to Washington!
This has been/will be the best three weeks of my life.
:D
