The Man with the Cold
One day there was a man with a terrible cold.
His head ached, his fever burned, his nose ran,
and he coughed, coughed, coughed. Basically,
this man was miserable. He knew that something
was going around, but he didn’t bother to
wash his hands. His suffering was more than
he could stand, so he knew what he should do.
“If I take some DayQuil, I know I’ll get better.”
He knew it, but he didn’t do it.
His cold became worse.
“I know that if I take DayQuil, I’ll get better!!”
Again he said it, but did nothing.
Now close to death he croaked,
“I don’t understand! All this time I knew
that DayQuil would help me get better,
but now it’s too late…”
And then, he died.
You see, faith without works is dead.

IT
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I might just share it with my Sunday School class. That whole "faith without works" thing is kind of a big deal in the New Testament.
It's perfect.
I love it.
Ten out'ta ten!!
