Word Of The Day: Gregarious

Alright.
So, not so long ago I was doing a "word of the day" thing to help strengthen my vocabulary.
Then it turned into a "word of the week"....
Then it went back to the ole' "...words I use all the time..."
But then I was reading a book about Cary Grant and he said that you should find a new word each day and what have you.
Well, I wouldn't disappoint Cary for the world!
So, I'm back on!!!!!
This will not only add to my vocabulary, but it will help me with spelling. I'll try to use the new words as much as I can, and then report my progress at the end of the week.
Bon.
Maintenant, nous commenceons.

Gregarious: (adj) fond of the company of others; social.

"Society is no comfort
To one not sociable."
-Shakespeare

  1. Oh Tee. I love it. So is it word of the day or of the week? Like, should I be checking for a new word daily or weekly??

Your quote and picture go hand-in-hand, btw. There's that one guy who doesn't have a speech bubble...Shakespeare described his feelings, I'm sure!

By the way. I hope you don't consider me to be a gregarious person. Because I'm not. Most of the time. When I do crave the company of people, it's fam--NOT society. Hah.

  2. Well, I'm shooting for word of the day... so we'll see how long that lasts ;p
Hahaha I know, right!! That's why I chose the picture! I love his sad eyes! (I also saw a little of myself --meaning A LOT-- in that man... ;p)
Oh Mil, I don't think you're gregarious. You're exac-tic-cally how you should be.
