Some Projects

My room was feeling cluttered with all my stuff laying everywhere so I decided to do something about it:

One thing that I love most about my dad is his willingness to help. I just had to casually mention I wanted to make something to hold my bracelets and we were off to the hardware store. He spent his day off in the freezing wind with me sawing and sanding away on a ridiculously large plank of wood. By the end I was close to death because of wind exposure but he still wanted to get all fancy and keep going. I think the biggest difference between us concerning our "project making" is his need for perfection and my abhorrence of it. I don't care about making this perfect, I don't care if every thing's perfectly measured out... and yes, this has caused many-a problems and frustrations, but there it is. ;)
I think things are more interesting with imperfections but they really just get under his skin. So basically, whenever we work on something, it's pretty hilarious. And I can assure you that this project was no different. ;p

AND (because I couldn't fall asleep last night) more dot art!

  1. Tee I love it so much! I'm not going to lie, I'm really jealous of all your jewelry holder stuff. That'll be one of my next projects. I love it!! :D And all of your gorgeous jewelry. It's truly a pleasure to behold! :)
